SAVE THE DATE - 26th September 2026

Please make sure you put in your diaries the above date to help us celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the 'new' village hall for Bishop Sutton and Stowey!

We want everyone who has contributed to the management and running of the hall as a trustee/committee member, etc. over the years to be our guests of honour and to SAVE THE DATE of Saturday 26th September 2026 when we intend to stage a high/cream tea during the afternoon from 2-6PM.  

Although the event is intended to celebrate and thank those who had the foresight to create this beautiful asset and raise the funds for it's building, we would like all members of the community and Bishop Sutton and Stowey villages to attend and enjoy the afternoon and learn something of the history as to how this hall came to be built and finished in 1996.

This event will be FREE OF CHARGE to everyone attending including the refreshments.

There will a static display of memorabilia and photos of the old and new halls and we hope to be able to show some videos of the halls too. If you have any articles or photos that others will find of interest, please let us borrow them to copy so that we can display them to jog memories of the good times we have shared at the halls over the years.

More information will be forthcoming over the next few months.  We will let you know how to get free tickets using our web site so we are able to cater for the correct numbers.

A high tea and scones and cream teas will be provided FOC together with some bubbly to celebrate the occasion!
