How many of you using the village hall have ever looked closely at the beautiful embroidery above the rear doors, depicting life in the village many years ago?

You can see the cricket pitch, The Butchers Arms, The Forge Garage, the Yellow Submarine, Wattsey's caar workshop, the new village hall, the primary school, the church, the post office, Stuckey's Stores, the Methodist Church, Pick Your Own fruit farm, The Red Lion, Wookey's,the fish and chip van, the caravan park, Chew Valley Lake, the tennis courts, Dundry, many private houses and a bus service!

Have a closer look the next time you are at the hall - perhpas we need to lower it to m make it easier to view!
